Our Program is based on the “My Time Our Place” learning outcomes. Each morning and afternoon there are a variety of planned sports and crafts activities for the children to participate in, as well as games and toys available for spontaneous play. Staff support children’s interests, as well as encouraging them to participate in a range of new and exciting games and sports.
Our program consists of activities chosen by the children and the craft theme is chosen either from children’s suggestions or a relevant world event.
My Time, Our Place
The Framework for School Age Care builds on the Early Years Learning Framework and extends the principles, practice and outcomes to accommodate the contexts and age range of the children and young people who attend school age care settings.
The My Time, Our Place – Framework for School Age Care In Australia forms part of the Council of Australian Government’s reform agenda for childhood education and care and is a key component of the Australian Government’s National Quality Framework for childhood education and care.
